The agent of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez has denied Napoli have made an approach regarding a summer move.
Suarez, 23, rejoined Barcelona from Villarreal at the start of the season but has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular under Luis Enrique.
Reports had emerged suggesting Napoli were looking to take advantage of his lack of playing time with a summer move but his agent, Felix Gende, has denied this.
“We have not receive any contact from Napoli nor any other club,” he told Radio CRC, via Sky Sports.
“Denis is very well at Barca, with whom he has a five-year contract. In these months he is growing a lot.
“It’s obvious that all players want to play more, but this is his first full year at Barca, and it’s the route to follow. Next year he will surely have more space.”
Suarez has made more appearances in the league from the bench (12) than he has as a starter (10), while he has only managed to score or assist three goals in that time.
