Arsenal are in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain outcast Christopher Nkunku, claims French outlet L’Equipe.
Unai Emery’s side can only afford loan signings this month and the Arsenal head coach is desperate to bolster his midfield options.
Arsenal were pursuing Barcelona outcast Denis Suarez but talks have reportedly collapsed after the Gunners refused to accept a clause that would make his move permanent in the summer.
The Spaniard has now turned to former club PSG and wants to offer Nkunku a way out of PSG by handing him regular playing time.
Nkunku's agent has already confirmed his client wants to leave PSG, though the French giants will only sanction his departure if they strengthen their squad this month.
The France Under-21 international made 20 league appearances under Emery last season and scored four goals.
Nkunku, 21, has already started five league games for PSG this season but is thought of as a utility player and has mainly been played out of position.
