Sevilla want former winger back from Manchester City

Sevilla are ready to re-sign Manchester City winger Jesus Navas when his contract expires at the end of the season, reports The Daily Mail.

Navas joined City from Sevilla in a £14.9m deal in 2013 but the former Spain international has proven an underwhelming signing and doesn’t appear to have a future under Pep Guardiola.

The 31-year-old is one of several City players that will be moved on at the end of the current campaign and Sevilla are ready to pounce on their former winger and bring him back to Spain this summer.

It has been 1165 days since Navas last scored in the Premier League, in a 4-2 win over Cardiff City in January 2014.
