Victor Moses is free to leave Chelsea this month and Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace and Cardiff are battling for his signature, claims the London Evening Standard.
The 28-year-old has dropped completely out of favour at Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri this season after establishing himself as a first-team regular during Antonio Conte’s two-year stint at the club.
Chelsea are preparing for the departure of Cesc Fabregas to Monaco and the west London outfit are also willing to cash in on Moses, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current deal.
Palace and Cardiff are both competing to sign Moses, who Chelsea value at £12m, while Fulham are also reportedly monitoring his future at Stamford Bridge.
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock was Palace manager when Moses played for the Eagles from 2007-10 and hopes that will prove decisive in the race for his signature, though it remains to be seen whether Moses wants to leave London.
Moses has only made two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season and hasn’t even been afforded a run-out in the Europa League like many other of Chelsea’s fringe players.
Since August 2016, Chelsea have won 72.2% of their Premier League matches with Moses in the starting XI compared to just 58.1% when he hasn’t featured from the off.
