Spurs captain to commit future at White Hart Lane

Hugo Lloris is prepared to commit his future to Tottenham Hotspur by penning a new five-year contract, reports the Mirror on Sunday.

The Frenchman has been one of Spurs' most consistent performers in the Premier League this season, with his form attracting interest from clubs across the continent.

PSG have long been linked with a move for the Spurs and France captain, while Manchester United were rumoured to be considering Lloris as a potential signing in the wake of David De Gea's rumoured move to Real Madrid.

However, the 29-year-old looks to set follow in the footsteps of manager Mauricio Pochettino, who verbally confirmed he was to pen a new contract at White Hart Lane.

Lloris has played in all but one of Spurs' 35 Premier League games this season, forming a solid last line of defence for a side that has conceded fewer goals (26) than any other top-flight team.
