Leicester join Tottenham and Everton in hunt for Hull winger
Leicester City have joined Tottenham and Everton in the race to land coveted Hull wideman Jarrod Bowen, reports the Sun.
The 22-year-old is widely considered to be one of the hottest prospects in the Championship and his performances have not gone unnoticed in the Premier League.
Bowen was named the Championship player of the month in December and for good reason too as he scored six and assisted two for a resurgent Hull side.
The youngster now has 11 goals and three assists in England’s second tier this term and it’s seen Tottenham and Everton scout Bowen.
Leicester have now joined the duo in the race to land the Tigers sensation, who has been valued at £20m by Hull.
The Championship side, though, are adamant that Bowen will not be sold this month as they chase a playoff finish.
A run of six wins from their last seven has seen Nigel Adkins side move to within seven points of the top six and they’ll aim to continue their promotion push when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the KCOM Stadium this afternoon.
Failure to secure a place in the Premier League for next season, however, would likely trigger a transfer scramble for Hull’s prized asset.
