Southampton have confirmed the signing of defender Virgil van Dijk from Celtic.
The young centre-back had been strongly linked with a move to St. Mary's in recent weeks and, following Celtic's elimination from the Champions League, has completed his switch to Saints.
Van Dijk becomes the club's second centre-back acquisition of the summer after Steven Caulker joined the south coast side on loan from QPR for the season.
The 24-year-old moves to Saints for a fee believed to be £11.5m and has penned at five-year deal for Ronald Koeman's side.
