Harry Maguire opens door to Leicester exit, but not until the summer

Despite signing a new five-year-contract with Leicester following a superb showing at the World Cup, Harry Maguire is refusing to rule out a move next summer, The Mirror reports.

It became common knowledge during the transfer window that Manchester United were keen on the England international’s services, and the centre-back continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Speaking to the BBC’s Premier League Show, Maguire stated: "I want to concentrate fully on Leicester this year, see where it takes the club and see where we go from there.”

However, when asked as to whether a move to one of England’s ‘giants’ would interest him should a bid be made he admitted, “"Yes, definitely it would be a difficult one. I’m an ambitious player.

"If you're not an ambitious footballer, you're in the wrong game really.

"Everyone wants to play at the top level, everyone wants to play in the biggest tournaments in the world, so obviously the Champions League is one."
