Tottenham are looking to secure Harry Winks’ long-term future and are prepared to double his current salary, reports The Sun.
Winks made his senior international debut in England’s 1-0 with over Lithuania on Sunday and turned in a thoroughly impressive display, finishing as the WhoScored Man of the Match.
The 21-year-old only signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham at the start of the year but is so highly regarded by the club that they want to hand him a second deal in the space of eight months.

Winks has been made to wait patiently for first team opportunities by Mauricio Pochettino but is now set to receive a new contract that could be worth as much as £40,000-a-week.
The youngster barely put a foot wrong against Lithuania, completing 95 of the 99 passes he attempted during his 90-minute display.
