Chelsea have entered the race to sign Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, according to Sports Mediaset, via Football Italia.
Antonio Conte will reportedly be backed in the January transfer window by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and has already started to list his potential targets with Badelj among them.
The Fiorentina midfielder has previously been linked with a move to Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham and the 27-year-old is also being mooted with a move to AC Milan, as they look to cover the loss of their injured captain, Riccardo Montolivo.
Of players to have made at least 10 league appearances for Fiorentina since the start of last season no player has garnered a higher WhoScored rating (7.10).
