Barcelona are on the brink of signing Philippe Coutinho after agreeing a British transfer record £142m deal with Liverpool, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Spanish giants have been chasing Coutinho since Neymar left in the summer and have agreed to make the Brazil international the third most expensive footballer of all-time.
Coutinho is now expected to fly to Barcelona on Saturday evening in order to finalise terms and sign his contract, with an official announcement expected before the end of the weekend.
Barcelona have reportedly agreed to shell out £105m straight away, with the rest of the transfer made up of various add-ons.
Liverpool refused to sell Coutinho to Barcelona in the summer but have finally granted the 25-year-old his dream move.
The Brazilian has been in superb form for the Reds this season and is currently the highest rated player in the Premier League (8.03).
