Two in, two out for Liverpool in latest Premier League Form XI

After the midweek round of fixtures came to a close as Liverpool stretched their winning streak to 14 league matches despite an excellent Wolves performance, the Reds once again feature heavily in our Premier League Form XI.

While two players from the runaway league leaders drop out of the latest side, two came in following their crucial contributions on Thursday night. There are five changes in all, while Virgil van Dijk, Mason Holgate, Cesar Azpilicueta, Kevin De Bruyne, Adama Traore and Troy Deeney all kept their place in the team. The new faces are as follows...

Goalkeeper: Nick Pope (Burnley) - 7.22 weighted rating

Back-to-back man of the match performances from Pope ensure the England international displaces Alisson in the XI this week. His contributions against both Leicester and Manchester United ensured the Clarets picked up six points from matches in which they weren't expected to collect any.

Pope made 14 saves across the two games, including a penalty stop from Jamie Vardy, and his displays in the past week may well be the difference between survival and relegation for Sean Dyche's side.

Right-back: Serge Aurier (Tottenham) - 7.62 weighted rating

While he's far from the most popular player with the Tottenham fanbase, Aurier certainly couldn't be accused of a lack of effort defensively and he made another telling contribution in attack against Norwich. The Ivory Coast international registered his fourth league assist of the season in the victory and produced three tackles and two interceptions for the second game running.

Moreover, the full-back has created nine chances and completed 14 dribbles over his last four league appearances, taking the place of Trent Alexnader-Arnold in the process.

Right wing: Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) - 7.72 weighted rating

With Norwich's Emiliano Buendia missing the match against Tottenham through injury his place on the wing was up for grabs and willfully accepted by the impressive Mahrez. The Algerian remains a player that is rotated in and out of the City side so often fails to qualify for this side but has now started six of the last eight league matches available and performed admirably in each.

With three goals and three assists over his previous five starts, the narrow 1-0 win over Sheffield United wasn't Mahrez's best display by a long chalk but he still posed a huge threat, attempting three shots, creating three chances and completing four dribbles, along with 91.7 per cent of his passes.

Central midfield: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool) - 7.55 weighted rating

Ensuring Etienne Capoue's stint in this side was as short lived as possible, Henderson makes his first appearance following a telling impact at Wolves. The midfielder opened the scoring with a rare headed goal early in the game before teeing up the match winner late on and was assured throughout despite a strong second half showing from the hosts.

It's arguably the form of the Reds skipper's career, captaining the side to a first ever Premier League title and appearing more deserving of the honour week-by-week.

Striker: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) - 7.52 weighted rating

The match-winner at Molineux, for much of the game Firmino was kept relatively quiet but he stood up to be counted when it mattered most. The Brazilian certainly had chances in the second half and was thwarted by Rui Patricio twice but ensured that there was no stopping his fourth attempt of the game, rifling his eighth goal of the Premier League season - all of which have come at home - into the top corner.

It was Firmino's fourth goal in six league matches since scoring the winning goals in both of the Reds' Club World Cup matches in December and his inclusion spells an immediate end for West Ham's Sebastien Haller.
