2023/24 Season Roundup 

Ipswich were the surprise package in the Championship last season as they were promoted along with Leicester and Southampton. Kieran McKenna won a number of admirers for the way he set his Tractor Boys side up and he'll look to leave a lasting impression upon Ipswich's return to the Premier League. 

Key Player - Leif Davis 

With left-back something of a problem position for England, Leif Davis will hope his first Premier League season will boost his chances of securing a spot in the national team. Davis finished the 2023/24 campaign with more assists (18) than any other player in the Championship and the 24-year-old's drive is vital as Ipswich look to avoid the drop. 

Signing to Watch - Jacob Greaves 

Ipswich are expected to add new faces to the squad before the close of the transfer window however the standout addition so far is centre-back Jacob Greaves. Despite Hull's failure to secure a playoff spot, Greaves was solid at the back for the Tigers as he finished 10th for clearances (187) in the Championship. The 23-year-old is an accomplished ball player, too, having averaged the ninth most passes per game (76) in the division.
