Jurgen Klopp's time at Liverpool is ending with a whimper rather than a bang. Last week's 2-2 draw with West Ham all but ended the Reds' title hopes and means they have won only two of their last seven matches in all competitions. Even Anfield isn't quite the fortress it once was with Klopp overseeing back-to-back defeats on Merseyside. Liverpool do at least have a fine home record against Sunday's opponents Tottenham.
Spurs fell to a third defeat on the spin on Thursday as they lost 2-0 at Chelsea. The loss all but ends their top-four hopes with the north London side now seven points behind Aston Villa with four games to play. Ange Postecoglou's side have faltered on their travels big time of late, too, with Spurs winning just one of their last eight away from home.
Team News
Jurgen Klopp is hopeful captain Virgil van Dijk can overcome a knock to start on Sunday afternoon and the Dutchman will be assessed. Conor Bradley is also a doubt, but Thiago, Diogo Jota and Joel Matip miss out. Mohamed Salah and Klopp had a touchline spat at West Ham last week though the Egypt international should start the German's penultimate home game at Anfield.
Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns following their 2-0 loss at Chelsea, though Postecoglou must make do without six players here as Timo Werner, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Fraser Forster, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon miss out. The Spurs boss may be tempted to push Micky van de Ven over to left-back and bring Radu Dragusin in at centre-back to shore his side up. Giovani Lo Celso may also start after a bright cameo in midweek.

While Liverpool have nothing to play for in the final weeks of the season, they'll aim to ensure Jurgen Klopp has the appropriate send off ahead of his departure this summer. With that, expect this Liverpool side to put in a hard-fought performance on home turf as they seek to control proceedings in the middle of the park.
That, though, may land some players in hot water, notably Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentine has been a superb addition to the Liverpool side and he goes to great lengths to disrupt the rhythm of opponents even if that does mean he gets the odd telling off from officials.
