Goalkeepers

Willy Caballero (Manchester City – Points Earned 13)
Petr Cech (Arsenal – Points Earned 16)

Jordan Pickford (Sunderland – Points Earned 17.5)

Sunderland may have been relegated last weekend, but that didn’t stop the Black Cats from throwing a spanner in the works for Hull’s pursuit of safety. Jordan Pickford was once again impressive in the victory to earn 17.5 points on Yahoo! and at home against a Swansea side that has scored just once in their last four away league games, he may be worth keeping in your XI.

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester – Points Earned 20.5)

With a clean sheet to his name, Kasper Schmeichel did well enough to earn 20.5 points as Leicester secured a 3-0 win over Watford. However, with the Foxes travelling to Manchester City in Saturday’s early kick off, the Dane could be one to transfer out of your side this weekend.

Fraser Forster (Southampton – Points Earned 23)

Having excelled between the sticks against Liverpool, Fraser Forster was the highest scoring goalkeeper with Yahoo!, earning 23 points, with a penalty stop helping the England international reach that total. Saints travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday, who have scored fewer goals (26) than any other Premier League team this term. Expect another clean sheet for Forster here.

Defenders

Christian Fuchs (Leicester – Points Earned 9.3)
John O’Shea (Sunderland – Points Earned 9.4)
James Milner (Liverpool – Points Earned 9.6)
Craig Dawson (West Brom – Points Earned 10.3)
Gary Cahill (Chelsea – Points Earned 10.8)
Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea – Points Earned 12.4)
Vincent Kompany (Manchester City – Points Earned 14.5)

Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City – Points Earned 17.7)

After shutting out Crystal Palace in their 5-0 win on Saturday, Nicolas Otamendi did enough to earn a place in WhoScored’s Premier League team of the week and earn 17.7 points with Yahoo! Leicester’s away form has left little to the imagination this season, so investing in Otamendi this week could be a wise choice to make.

Billy Jones (Sunderland – Points Earned 18)

Billy Jones netted his first goal of the season at Hull last week and with a clean sheet to boot, did enough to secure the full-back 18 points with Yahoo! Like Pickford, he could be a cheap and handy pick up against a Swansea side that has struggled in front of goal on the road of late.

Marcos Alonso (Chelsea – Points Earned 21.6)

Marcos Alonso is a fantasy football player's dream and he is another to invest in once more this week. With Chelsea hosting ineffectual Watford on Monday night, the Spaniard can be expected to secure another hefty points return, provided Antonio Conte doesn't rotate too heavily should Chelsea secure the title on Friday night.

Midfielders

Tom Cleverley (Watford – Points Earned 12.6)
Cesc Fabregas (Chelsea – Points Earned 13.3)
Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth – Points Earned 13.5)
Marc Albrighton (Leicester – Points Earned 13.8)
Raheem Sterling (Manchester City – Points Earned 14.3)
Granit Xhaka (Arsenal – Points Earned (14.5)
David Silva (Manchester City – Points Earned 16)

Riyad Mahrez (Leicester – Points Earned 20.1)

Riyad Mahrez netted a spectacular solo goal when Leicester travelled to Manchester City last season and was an effective performer against Watford. His away form has been somewhat poor this season though, so he could be one to avoid this weekend.

Nemanja Matic (Chelsea – Points Earned 20.2)

Chelsea may have already wrapped up the title by the time Watford travel to Stamford Bridge, in which case Antonio Conte may opt to rest a number of players. Nemanja Matic is a low-cost, low-risk inclusion, but it would be worth holding off on picking him until the result of Chelsea’s trip to West Brom is known.

Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City – Points Earned 28.2)

Another stellar performance from Kevin De Bruyne on Saturday saw him secure a perfect WhoScored rating of 10 and more points (28.2) than any other player for Yahoo! last week. The Belgian has saved his best form for home games and while he is a costly inclusion, De Bruyne’s certainly worth it.

Forwards

Wayne Rooney (Manchester United – Points Earned 10.2)
Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City – Points Earned 11.3)
Jamie Vardy (Leicester – Points Earned 12)
Mame Biram Diouf (Stoke – Points Earned 12.2)
Fernando Llorente (Swansea – Points Earned 12.3)
Danny Welbeck (Arsenal – Points Earned 14)
Jermain Defoe (Sunderland – Points Earned 14.6)

Diego Costa (Chelsea – Points Earned 15.7)

Diego Costa netted his 20th Premier League goal of the season in the 3-0 win over Middlesbrough and has scored the first goal on seven occasions in England’s top tier this term. Like Matic, though, it’s best to determine how Chelsea perform at West Brom on Friday before making a decision on his inclusion.

Salomon Rondon (West Brom – Points Earned 16)

A 2-2 draw with Burnley also saw West Brom striker Salomon Rondon score his first Premier League goal of 2017. Yet, with the Baggies in action on Friday night and the two Friday night games not included in the gameweek, he is one to avoid this week.

Sam Vokes (Burnley – Points Earned 23.7)

In the above match, Sam Vokes bagged a brace to secure 23.7 points with Yahoo! With the Clarets at Bournemouth on Saturday, he may be another solid addition to your team who won’t cost an arm and a leg to sign up.
