Form Guide
Liverpool are unbeaten in 14 league games head into Wednesday's welcome of Chelsea, and have dropped points just twice at Anfield all season. However, they have won only one of their last three league outings on home turf having been held by Manchester United and Arsenal before Christmas.
Chelsea continue to prove they are the Premier League's answer to Jekyll and Hyde. The Blues are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge since November, a run of 10 games in all competitions, yet have lost five of their last six on the road, and the victory in that run was a narrow 3-2 win at Luton between Christmas and New Year.
Team News
Egypt were dumped out of the Africa Cup of Nations over the weekend, though Mohamed Salah is absent due to a thigh injury sustained while on international duty. Wataru Endo is with the Japan national team for the Asian Cup and misses out. The Reds injury issues have eased in recent weeks with Joel Matip, Thiago, Stefan Bajcetic and Kostas Tsimikas occupying space in the physio room. Both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson featured against Norwich over the weekend.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino still has a lengthy injury list to contend with. Malo Gusto and Christopher Nkunku will be assessed but the likes of Reece James, Romeo Lavia and Robert Sanchez are among seven absent through injury. Nicolas Jackson is with the Senegal national team at the Africa Cup of Nations.

UltimateFan Player Tip
Diogo Jota was the top scoring player on UltimateFan in gameweek 21, accumulating 23 points after a wonderful display in Liverpool's 4-0 win over Bournemouth. In the absence of Mohamed Salah, Jota has really stepped up to the mark, and his goal against Norwich in the FA Cup on Sunday means he has directly contributed to nine goals in his last 10 Liverpool outings. While the Portugal international doesn't have a great record against Chelsea he has been in fine form of late.
