Leicester have been one of the most peculiar sides over the festive period. Claude Puel’s side have beaten Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton and lost to Cardiff and Newport County in their last five matches.
Southampton are winless in their last four matches but have drawn their last two, including a 0-0 stalemate away to Chelsea. Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side have more than a chance of winning here when you consider the sides that have got the better of Leicester of late.
The last three encounters between the two sides at the King Power Stadium have incredibly finished 0-0, so do not expect a high-scoring match on Saturday. One goal could prove decisive in dictating who wins.

Crystal Palace have won four of their last six matches and need to make the most of this good moment to steer clear of the relegation zone.
Watford are also in good form. The Hornets have only lost one of their last seven matches in all competitions and have scored at least two goals in their last four away games.
Palace have won their last three home matches against Watford and will hope to get at least a point on Saturday to continue their momentum.

Successive wins have moved Burnley two points clear of the bottom three and they have a great chance to distance themselves further this weekend.
Fulham are second from bottom and four points off safety after only winning one of their last six in the Premier League.
As Fulham are the only side left in the Premier League yet to win away from home this season, Burnley should really be aiming for nothing less than three points on Saturday.
To help the home side further, they are unbeaten in each of their last five home matches against Fulham, a run that spans 14 years.
Sampdoria vs AC Milan

Sampdoria and AC Milan will contest their first match of 2019 in the Coppa Italia. Sampdoria should be confident of overcoming Milan after finishing last year very strongly.
Sampdoria lost 2-1 to Juventus in their final match of 2018, but were unbeaten in seven matches before that (W5, D2).
Milan, meanwhile, would have welcomed the break after a disastrous conclusion to 2018. Gennaro Gattuso’s side have only won one of their six matches in all competitions.
Much has been speculated about Gattuso’s future and he can expect to answer even more questions if Milan crash out of the cup on Saturday.

Neither of these teams are in good shape ahead of Sunday’s encounter at Goodison Park. Everton have lost four of their last five in the league and won just one of their last eight.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, have lost nine of their last 11 league matches and have been conceding goals for fun. The last three meetings between the two sides at Everton have produced 15 goals, which should translate into an entertaining match for the neutrals.
This match has the potential to go either way but the potential absence of Callum Wilson could prove decisive. The Bournemouth striker has been immense this season and the Cherries have struggled this season when he hasn’t been able to play.
Tottenham vs Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has enjoyed a dream start to life in caretaker charge of Manchester United but Sunday’s trip to Wembley will serve his first real test. United have won five matches in a row heading into this clash against Tottenham and will certainly aim to do a lot better than the 3-0 defeat in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Solskjaer has made his intentions to get the job on a full-time basis clear but on Sunday he will face off against United’s preferred choice, Mauricio Pochettino. Other than a reality check against Wolves at the end of last year, Tottenham have won six of their last seven league matches.
In Son Heung-min, Tottenham also have one of the most in-form players in the Premier League. The South Korea international jets off to the Asian Cup after Sunday’s match and he will aim to leave Tottenham on a high. Solskjaer has conceded the outcome of this match will give a clearer indication where United are under his leadership and a first defeat in charge beckons.
