REVEALED: Sunday's star performers as Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool feature
Brighton 1-2 Chelsea - Eden Hazard (8.28)
They may have suffered a late scare to eke out Brighton, securing a 2-1 win, but Chelsea were comfortable in the opening 45 minutes as they raced into a 2-0 lead. Eden Hazard was the central figure as the Blues bagged twice in the first half, with the Belgian registering the assist for Pedro’s opener, that coming from one of three key passes, before getting on the scoresheet as he hit the back of the net with his only shot on target. An additional three successful dribbles saw Hazard land the WhoScored man of the match award with an 8.28 rating having now had a direct hand in more goals (17) than any other Premier League player this season.
Southampton 3-2 Arsenal - Henrikh Mkhitaryan (8.39)
Arsenal’s 22-match unbeaten run came to an end earlier today as Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl landed a home debut win at the Gunners’ expense. Bernd Leno’s late error handed Saints all three points as Arsenal twice came from behind. Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s brace either side of the interval helped land the WhoScored man of the match award, even with the Armenian ending up on the losing side. Mkhitaryan had now scored four league goals this season, three of which have come away from home, with his double on the south coast coming from four shots. One key pass, one successful dribble and four interceptions helped the Gunners attacker return a WhoScored rating of 8.39 at St. Mary’s.

Liverpool 3-1 Manchester United - Xherdan Shaqiri (8.56)
Enter Shaqiri. Liverpool’s hero in a dominant performance over rivals Manchester United, Xherdan Shaqiri came off the bench with 20 minutes to go and stole the show for the Reds as he bagged a brace to secure all three points for the Merseysiders who moved to the top of the table and now sit 19 points ahead of United. The Swiss summer signing hit the back of the net with his two shots, while one key pass, one successful dribble and one tackle contributed to a WhoScored rating of 8.56, that enough to secure the man of the match award.
