Centre-back: Davinson Sanchez (Colombia) - 7.56 rating
Partnering Maripan at the heart of the defence in this XI is Colombia’s Davinson Sanchez, who shone in their 2-0 win over Argentina to keep Messi and co. at bay. The second Colombia player to make the grade, William Tesillo joins compatriot Sanchez in this XI after his fine all-round showing from left-back against Argentina. Copa America hosts Brazil have two players in this XI with Richarlison making the grade with a modest WhoScored rating of 7.38. The Everton star may not have been at his best, but he did complete four dribbles against Bolivia and drew four fouls in the 3-0 win while one tackle rounded off a solid showing.
Central midfield: Erick Pulgar (Chile) - 9.70 rating
Our player of the first round of fixtures with a WhoScored rating of 9.70, Erick Pulgar was sensational against Japan as he found the back of the net with one of his three shots.
