5. David Silva (Manchester City) – 7.68 rating

 

David Silva registered two assists in three Premier League appearances last month to come in as the fifth highest WhoScored rated player in March. The Spaniard even won three aerial duels in those games, as many as his previous six league appearances combined. Silva registered nine key passes and completed four dribbles in those games.

 

4. Wes Morgan (Leicester) – 7.70 rating

 

Wes Morgan had a spell out of the Leicester team but has re-established himself as a first choice defender under Brendan Rodgers last month. Morgan finished March by scoring in successive matches, more than his previous 77 league matches combined (1). The 35-year-old also picked up the WhoScored Man of the Match award in a 2-1 win away to Burnley, in which he scored a late winner.

 

3. Lucas Digne (Everton) – 7.76 rating

 

Lucas Digne’s WhoScored rating did not dip below 7.00 across four Premier League appearances last month and the French left-back registered one assist and earned a WhoScored Man of the Match award in that time. Digne completed 17 tackles and interceptions combined and 16 clearances last month, while registering 10 key passes.

2. Romain Saiss (Wolves) – 7.86 rating

 

Romain Saiss enjoyed a stellar March despite being asked to drop in at centre-back for two of his three league appearances. The Wolves ace won 23 aerial duels in three matches and completed 18 tackles and interceptions combined. Saiss also made 21 clearances and can count himself unlikely after being dropped against Manchester United on Tuesday night.

 

1. Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester) – 7.86 rating

 

Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi pips Romain Saiss to the WhoScored Player of the Month award in the Premier League after making more appearances than the Wolves man in March. Ndidi made at least 10 more tackles than any other player in the Premier League last month (28) and also won possession in the middle third the most (27).
