After running through the biggest market risers earlier this week, here we highlight our five players to add to your portfolio ahead of the final week of the season.

Jean Seri - Nice (Buy)

The transfer window wasn’t even open at the time of reports linking Jean Seri with a move to Arsenal, yet the Ivorian is supposedly back on the Gunners’ radar. Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona have previously been credited with an interest in the Nice man, while Chelsea are also believed to have entered the race for his signature.

The 26-year-old is expected to leave Nice this summer and reports of Arsenal’s interest sparked a surge in his share price. The transfer window has only just opened in England, yet he already has a buy price of £2.21 per share on Football INDEX. However, with the merry-go-round set to spin into action soon enough, Seri is one to add to your portfolio.

Ricardo Pereira - FC Porto (Buy)

Ricardo Pereira was a rumoured target for Tottenham last summer after his loan deal with Nice ended. Spurs sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50m and the Portuguese right-back was viewed as the ideal replacement for the England international. However, the move failed to materialise and Pereira returned to FC Porto, where he excelled.

Fast forward 12 months, and the 24-year-old is a Liga NOS winner and is again being linked with a move to England, this time with Leicester. Pereira has also been included in Fernando Santos’ preliminary World Cup squad and should he make the final 23-man team, then his share price could rise significantly. With a buy price of just £1.05 per share on Football INDEX, Pereira is too good to turn down.

Alex Sandro - Juventus (Buy)

Not for the first time in recent months, Alex Sandro is being linked with a move to the Premier League, this time Manchester United. Chelsea were huge admirers of the Brazilian last summer, yet failed to strike a deal with Juventus for the Brazilian. The Serie A side remain keen on Matteo Darmian and United will look to use the Italian as a makeweight in any deal for Sandro.

He has a buy price of just £1.88 per share on Football INDEX, but act quickly. That has risen 4.22% over the last 24 hours and could increase further if rumours of a move to United begins to gain traction. With no World Cup, Sandro will also come into next season fit and raring to go. Capitalise now while his buy price is as low as it currently is.

Fagner - Corinthians (Buy)

Fagner’s buy price has risen an astronomical 111.90% over the last 24 hours and shows no signs of slowing. The Corinthians man made Brazil’s World Cup squad and with Dani Alves ruled out of the tournament with a knee problem, he is expected to start for the South American powerhouse in Russia this summer.

What’s more, a strong showing at the World Cup could well see him linked with a return to Europe in the foreseeable future. With a buy price of just £0.71 per share, at the time of writing, on Football INDEX, this is too good an opportunity to pass up.

Mason Mount - Vitesse (Buy)

Mason Mount has ended the season strongly and he’ll aim to close the campaign on a high as he looks to help Vitesse to the final Europa League spot in the Eredivisie at FC Utrecht’s expense this weekend. He’s scored seven goals and registered six assists in his last seven league appearances and reports of Gareth Southgate keeping tabs on the teenager has prompted a 0.49% rise in his buy price over the last 24 hours.

It remains to be seen where Mount will be plying his trade next season, but his good form in the Netherlands is likely to have seen potential suitors cast watchful glances across to Arnhem. With a buy price of just £1.32 per share on Football INDEX, the 19-year-old could be a handy addition to your portfolio.
