Arsenal are the best represented side in our XI after their 2-0 win away to Leicester, while a Chelsea defender takes out player of the week award.
Goalkeeper: Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) - 8.64 rating
Aaron Ramsdale has exceeded expectations at Arsenal following his summer arrival and put on a clinic in Arsenal's win at Leicester on Saturday. Ramsdale made eight saves to deny the Foxes, the most he has ever managed in a Premier League game. His fingertip save from James Maddison's free-kick prompted Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel to claim it was the best save he had seen in years.
Right-back: Ben Johnson (West Ham) - 8.35 rating
Ben Johnson has taken full advantage of Vladimir Coufal's spell out of the team and capped his fine form with his first ever Premier League goal in West Ham's 4-1 win away to Aston Villa. Johnson opened the scoring with a fine left foot strike from just inside the area and he also excelled up against a tricky customer in Leon Bailey. The 21-year-old completed all eight of his tackles and also weighed in with three interceptions.
Centre-back: Max Kilman (Wolves) - 8.36 rating
Like Johnson, Max Kilman celebrated his first ever Premier League goal in gameweek 10, giving Wolves the lead in their 2-1 win over Everton on Monday night. Kilman won eight aerial duels in total, a personal record in a Premier League match this season. The 24-year-old also weighed in with three interceptions and completed 89.2% of his attempted passes.
Centre-back: Gabriel (Arsenal) - 8.02 rating
Arsenal invested heavily in their defence this season but having Gabriel back from injury has been equally as important to their new-found resilience at the back. Gabriel capped his fine form this season with his first goal of the campaign in their win over Leicester and was in the right place at the right time to help Arsenal keep their fourth clean sheet of the campaign with seven clearances.
Left-back: Kyle Walker-Peters (Southampton) - 7.86 rating
Kyle Walker-Peters has been forced to show his adaptability this season out of position at left-back following the arrival of ex-Chelsea youngster Valentino Livramento. However, it was Walker-Peters that excelled in their 1-0 win over Watford at the weekend, taking the WhoScored Man of the Match award. Walker-Peters registered two key passes, completed as many dribbles; made four clearances and completed 90% of his attempted passes.
Right wing: Reece James (Chelsea) - 9.85 rating
Reece James continued his fine recent form in front of goal with a brace in Chelsea's 3-0 win away to Newcastle on Saturday. The England international is remarkably Chelsea's top scorer in the Premier League this season with four goals and he also takes the WhoScored Player of the Week award following his latest exploits at Newcastle. He had four shots in total, registered three key passes and completed two dribbles. Moreover, James completed 95.4% of his attempted passes, a personal best in a Premier League game this season.
Central midfield: Conor Gallagher (Crystal Palace) - 9.38 rating
Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher did some undercover work for his parent side as he starred in Crystal Palace's shock 2-0 win away to Manchester City at the weekend. Gallagher set up Wilfried Zaha for the first and then lashed home for Palace's second to settle the game with at the death. He picked up his customary booking but weighed in with seven tackles and interceptions combined to really leave his mark in midfield. Moreover, the 21-year-old impressively registered four key passes, a personal record in a Premier League game this season.
Central midfield: Declan Rice (West Ham) - 9.00 rating
Declan Rice has taken his game to a whole new level for West Ham this season and on Sunday he scored and assisted in the same Premier League game for the first time in his career. West Ham ran out 4-1 winners away to Aston Villa, with Rice excelling as captain for the Hammers. Rice had three shots in total, as many as his previous seven Premier League games combined and also won three aerial duels. Six tackles and interceptions combined helped limit Villa's attacking threat and he even created two goalscoring chances.
Left wing: Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal) - 8.02 rating
Emile Smith Rowe will surely be named in Gareth Southgate's England squad later this week after yet another fine showing for Arsenal. The 21-year-old netted his third league goal of the season as Arsenal defeated Leicester at the King Power Stadium, netting from his only attempt of the game. Smith Rowe created two goalscoring chances and completed two dribbles and impressively completed 89.5% of his attempted passes.
Striker: Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) - 8.53 rating
A change of formation really helped get the best from Cristiano Ronaldo, as Manchester United ran out 3-0 winners away to Tottenham on Saturday to lift the pressure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer somewhat. Ronaldo, who also had a goal disallowed, scored a remarkable volley to open the scoring for United then showed great skill and guile to set up Edinson Cavani for United's second of the game.
Striker: Maxwel Cornet (Burnley) - 8.20 rating
Maxwel Cornet made it four goals in as many starts for Burnley as the Clarets ran out surprise 3-1 winners at home to Brentford on Saturday. Cornet has really hit the ground running since joining Burnley from Lyon over the summer and will be key to their chances of beating the drop this season.
