The Premier League resumes this weekend following the FA Cup third round action and it's time to get back on the horse on Fanteam Fantasy Football.

 

Before picking our team for this weekend's weekly monster, we have decided to run through the top 10 points scorers on Fanteam Fantasy Football. In the event of a tie, the player most in-form will get a better position in the standings.

 

10. Tammy Abraham (Chelsea) - 106 points

 

Trusted by Frank Lampard to be Chelsea's first-choice striker this season, Tammy Abraham has clapped back at his critics with 12 goals and three assists in 20 league appearances for the Blues. The 22-year-old even ended his wait for a goal against the established top-six after scoring the winner away to Arsenal at the end of last month.

 

9. Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) - 107 points

 

Leicester are remarkably Liverpool's closest challengers to the Premier League title and there have been a number of standout performers for the Foxes. Kasper Schmeichel is one of those and a key reason why Brendan Rodgers' side have the second best defensive record in the division (19 goals conceded). Moreover, the Denmark international has kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League this season (8). 

 

8. James Maddison (Leicester) - 110 points

 

Moving further forward in Leicester's team, James Maddison has been another bright spark to Leicester's good season and links with a move to Manchester United are only natural. Maddison has played a direct hand in nine goals in 20 league appearances so far this season.

 

7. Marcus Rashford (Man Utd) - 117 points

 

Tasked with becoming Manchester United's main man this season following the summer departures of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford has done so with aplomb. Rashford is enjoying his best ever campaign in front of goal, with 12 goals to his name in the Premier League. The 22-year-old has also registered four assists.

 

6. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) - 119 points

 

Trent Alexander-Arnold can no longer just be considered the best right-back in the world but the Liverpool starlet is now among the world's elite behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Only one player has registered more assists than the 21-year-old in the Premier League this season (8), a remarkable achievement for a defender.

5. Raheem Sterling (Man City) - 122 points

 

Raheem Sterling continues to grow from strength to strength for Manchester City. The 25-year-old is City's top scorer in the league this season (11) and is well on course to surpass his tally of 17 in the league in 2018/19.

 

4. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) - 127 points

 

Mohamed Salah has played an important role in Liverpool's dominant start to the league campaign with 10 goals and four assists to his name. The 27-year-old has also picked up three WhoScored Man of the Match awards in that time.

 

3. Jamie Vardy (Leicester) - 149 points

 

Jamie Vardy is approaching his 33rd birthday but the Leicester frontman continues to amaze for the Foxes. Vardy is running away in the standings to pick up this season's Golden Boot in the Premier League, with 17 goals in 19 league appearances. He has also provided three assists.

 

2. Kevin De Bruyne (Man City) - 149 points

 

Kevin De Bruyne edges Jamie Vardy into second on current form. The Manchester City creator has registered the most assists in the Premier League this season, at least four more than his nearest rival (12). De Bruyne has also netted seven goals and is the top WhoScored rated player in the Premier League this season (7.95).

 

1. Sadio Mane (Liverpool) - 152 points

 

Sadio Mane has collected more points than any other player on Fanteam Fantasy Football in the Premier League this season. The Senegal international, recently crowned African Player of the Year for 2019, has really developed into Liverpool's main man this season. He has 11 goals and six assists to his name in 19 league appearances. Without his goal contributions, which have earned Liverpool an additional 15 points, the Reds would be second in the league.
