Man Utd consider Bayern defender, Olise agrees Chelsea switch: Sunday's top transfer rumours

Manchester United are looking to sign a second centre-back this summer while Chelsea verbally agree a deal with their main attacking target. Here we run through Sunday's top transfer rumours.

Man Utd consider summer move for Bayern man

Manchester United have started internal talks over a summer move for Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, reports German publication TZ.

United are looking to bring in at least one centre-back in the off-season with Jarrad Branthwaite rumoured to be their top target.

Bayern value the Dutch defender at around €50m and are prepared to entertain offers for De Ligt as they look to raise funds for a squad overhaul.

Olise verbally agrees Chelsea move

Michael Olise has verbally agreed a summer move to Chelsea with the Crystal Palace star wanted by a number of Europe's top sides, reports TEAMtalk.

Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the Frenchman but Chelsea look to have the upper hand for Olise.

The Blues were heavily linked with a move for the young winger last summer but failed to secure the 22-year-old's services 12 months' ago.

Palace look to Arsenal for Olise replacement

With Michael Olise expected to depart for pastures new this summer, Crystal Palace have identified Arsenal's Reiss Nelson as a replacement for the Frenchman, reports CaughtOffside.

Nelson registered just 257 minutes of Premier League action last season and has been attracting interest from Fulham and West Ham along with Palace.

Palace are also expected to wrap up a deal for Daichi Kamada, who spent last season with Italian side Lazio.

Liverpool make enquiry for German defender

Liverpool have made an enquiry about VfB Stuttgat centre-back Waldemar Anton as they seek to bring in a new centre-back, reports German publication Sport Bild.

Anton is currently with the Germany national team for Euro 2024, though is backup for starting duo Antonio Rudiger and Jonathan Tah.

Anton was key as VfB Stuttgart finished second last season and the German side will do all they can to retain the services of their main centre-back.

Man Utd centre-back wanted by Fenerbahce

Newly-appointed Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunion with Manchester United  centre-back Victor Lindelof this summer, reports Fotomac.

Lindelof is expected to leave United this summer, with the Premier League giants looking to bring in at least one new centre-back.

And Mourinho is looking to convince Fenerbahce to make a move for the Swedish defender, who made 14 league starts last season.

Juventus leapfrog Dortmund for Man Utd winger

Juventus have moved ahead of Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Jadon Sancho this summer, reports Football Insider.

Sancho has fallen out of favour under United boss Erik ten Hag and spent the second half of last season on loan at former side Dortmund.

The German side are keen to retain Sancho's services, but have dropped behind Juventus with United willing to cash in on the winger.

England international may leave Man City

Jack Grealish could seek a move away from Manchester City this summer following a lack of game time for the champions, reports Football Insider.

Grealish failed to make England's Euro 2024 squad as the 28-year-old made just 10 league starts in an injury-hit campaign.

However, Grealish's high wages may prove a stumbling block with the former Aston Villa man contracted to City until 2027.

AC Milan keeping tabs on Chelsea striker

AC Milan scouts were in attendance for Albania's 2-1 Euro 2024 loss to Italy on Saturday night as they weigh up a potential move for Armando Broja, reports Sky Sports Italy.

Chelsea are willing to sell Broja this summer as they look to balance the books but are yet to receive a suitable offer for the 22-year-old.

Broja spent the second half of last season on loan at Fulham, however he failed to nail down a starting spot with all eight league appearances coming from the bench.
