Sunday's star men: Lacazette and Hazard shine as Arsenal and Chelsea cruise to victory

We round up today’s star men in the Premier League as Arsenal and Chelsea both romped to away wins, while Liverpool and Manchester City couldn’t be separated at Anfield.

Alexandre Lacazette - Fulham 1-5 Arsenal - Rating 8.90

Things are looking rosy for Arsenal at present after a ninth consecutive victory in all competitions following a second half demolition job of Fulham. It was Lacazette who got the ball rolling for the Gunners before Andre Schurrle levelled matters just before the break. The Frenchman was on hand to restore the visitors lead, however, doubling his tally for the afternoon and the season in the Premier League, scoring with both of his efforts at goal at Craven Cottage.

Eden Hazard - Southampton 0-3 Chelsea - Rating 9.05

Earning a fifth WhoScored.com man of the match award in just six Premier League starts this season, Hazard is without question the player of the season so far. The Belgian’s seventh goal of the campaign and third assist - setting up Alvaro Morata’s late third for the visitors to St. Mary’s - mean that he has now had a direct hand in ten league goals this season from just 577 minutes of action.

Fernandinho - Liverpool 0-0 Manchester City - Rating 7.59

Manchester City’s master of the dark arts got to grips with the Anfield encounter after yet another fast start from the hosts and by hook or by crook broke up play to help settle the visitors’ early nerves. The Brazilian completed three tackles, three interceptions and four clearances, and while he was fortunate not to be booked he ultimately prevented Liverpool’s ability to counter and evaded the press.
