Things could have been so different for Christopher Nkunku, who was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal last summer. The Frenchman eventually left PSG for RB Leipzig and it's a move he is unikely to have regretted. Injuries to key Bayern Munich defenders saw Alphonso Davies feature more prominently than many would have expected back in August, yet the wing-wizard has excelled at left-back for the Bavarian giants. Bombarding up the wing from defence, Davies has completed more dribbles (64) than any other teenager in Europe's top five leagues this season as he uses his speed and ability to ghost past opponents to good effect having chipped in with one goal and four assists in Germany's top tier this term.
Davies made just six league appearances for Bayern last season, totalling 74 minutes of action off the bench, as he showed glimpses of his quality to return a WhoScored rating of 6.24 in that time.
