After dropping to second in the form rankings last week, Boaz Myhill returns to the summit as a result of his clean sheet attaining performance against Chelsea on Monday. The game will be best remembered for Cesc Fàbregas’ red card, but Myhill was on hand to deny the Blues offensive when called on, making 3 saves in West Brom’s 3-0 home win. The Wales international has conceded just 1 goal in his last 5 league games, with his WhoScored rating (7.92) meaning he is currently the in-form goalkeeper in England’s top tier.

Joe Hart comes into the top-8 on the back of an impressive showing in the 4-2 win at Swansea on Sunday, while Jack Butland and Simon Mignolet are also fellow new entries in the in-form list.

Aleksandar Kolarov (8.59) retains his place atop the list of in-form defenders after another solid showing at the weekend. Jason Shackell (7.95) remains the Serb’s closest competitor in the form rankings having recently helped the Clarets to back-to-back clean sheets.

Robert Huth is a new entry after his resolute display in Leicester’s 0-0 draw at Sunderland. The German is currently Leicester’s highest rated player (7.37) and the 7th best in-form defender (7.67) in England’s top tier, while Sebastián Coates also comes into the top-10 following his man of the match display against Leicester. The Uruguayan will need to be at his best when Sunderland face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with the Black Cats’ top-flight future potentially on the line.

David Silva leapfrogs Marc Albrighton to the summit of the midfielder rankings having registered two assists in Manchester City’s 4-2 win at Swansea at the weekend. Teammate James Milner, who netted City’s second in the victory, is a new entry in the top-10 list after his man of the match award. Jason Puncheon also features having scored in Crystal Palace’s 3-1 win at Liverpool, with the midfielder, like Milner, also securing the man of the match award last weekend.

Sadio Mané is perhaps the most notable entry after his spectacular showing for Southampton on Saturday. The Senegal international netted the quickest hat-trick in Premier League history in the 6-1 trouncing of Aston Villa on Saturday, with his three goals coming in the space of just two minutes and 56 seconds. Such a impressive outing saw him rewarded with a place in WhoScored's latest European team of the week.

Sergio Agüero holds onto his place at the top of the in-form rankings for forwards this week, despite failing to get on the scoresheet against Swansea on Sunday. Nevertheless, the Argentine looks set to win the Golden Boot award, but will be keen to sign off this season with a bang at home to Southampton regardless. Shane Long, who like Mané is another new entry, will look to spoil the party at the Etihad Stadium. The Republic of Ireland international netted twice and registered 2 assists against Villa, so his confidence is expected to be high heading into the last day of the campaign.

Wilfried Bony and Romelu Lukaku are among the other new entrants this week having netted for City and Everton respectively at the weekend.
