A 0-0 draw at Fulham on Tuesday night extended Everton's winless run to five matches, though back-to-back draws is a confidence boost following a three-game losing streak. Nevertheless, the downturn in form, combined with Luton's upturn in results, has seen Sean Dyche's side drop into the bottom three ahead of the welcome of Tottenham. 

Spurs are unbeaten in three heading into their trip to Merseyside, and their 3-2 win over Brentford on Wednesday night combined with Aston Villa's surprise 3-1 loss to Newcastle means they sit in the top four heading into the weekend's action, eight points behind league leaders Liverpool. 

Team News 

Idrissa Gueye's availability for Everton is ideal. The experienced midfielder has returned to Merseyside following Senegal's AFCON exit at the last-16 stage at the ideal time with Sean Dyche with Abdoulaye Doucoure and Andre Gomes absent. Amadou Onana will face a late fitness test, as will Seamus Coleman and Arnaut Danjuma, while former Spurs man Dele Alli is absent. 

Pape Sarr should return to the Tottenham midfield for Saturday's match after he returned following AFCON duties. Yves Bissouma and Son Heung-Min remain with the Mali and South Korea national teams, while Giovani Lo Celso, Manor Solomon and Ryan Sessegnon remain injured. Alejo Veliz joined Sevilla on deadline day, though would have missed this one anyway owing to injury.
