Mendy and Kane set to continue sparkling form in Premier League GW8

Only factoring in Saturday and Sunday's Premier League fixtures, the 'Beat Kammy' contest is free to enter and offers a £1000 prize pool. You have eight players to select (minimum 1 GK, 1 DEF, 1 MID, 1 ATT) and 20 stars with which to do so, with players rated between one and five stars based on their rarity on the platform.

We've run the numbers once more to bring you our lineup suggestion for this week.

GK: Edouard Mendy - H vs Sheff Utd: 2 Stars (£12.25)

With six consecutive clean sheets to his name, it's little wonder Mendy's card is in high demand and the new Chelsea keeper will be confident of another shut out this weekend. He's up against a Sheffield United side that have scored just three goals in seven league games all season after all, and the Blues will be keen to exact revenge on a side that took four points off them last term.

DEF: Eric Dier - A vs West Brom: 1 Star (£0.39)

Another London club with a favourable fixture against a team in the relegation zone, Tottenham could top the table if they beat West Brom this weekend, with Leicester and Liverpool facing tough opponents later in the day on Sunday. The Baggies have scored just once in their last four matches and Dier and co. will be hoping to extend their misery this weekend.

DEF: Wesley Fofana - H vs Wolves: 1 Star (£6.47)

Having made an excellent start to his Leicester career, Fofana is a great one star pick up at this early stage in the season and has reason to be optimistic of another strong showing against Wolves. Not a straightforward fixture by any means, but three of their last four meetings have ended 0-0 and no current Wolves player has ever netted against a high-flying Foxes side.

MID: Trezeguet - A vs Arsenal: 2 Stars (£0.50)

An incredibly cheap two star option, Trezeguet was the match winner in a win over Arsenal that ultimately ensured Villa retained their Premier League status last season. The Egyptian was dropped to the bench last weekend but brought into action due to an injury to his replacement Bertrand Traore and made a real impact. The winger had four shots from the bench against Southampton, forcing three saves from Alex McCarthy and should carry a threat against the Gunners once more.

ATT: Tammy Abraham - H vs Sheff Utd: 2 Stars (£3.00)

Beginning to see more playing time of late and impressing when given the opportunity, Abraham may well lead the line for Chelsea once more and scored two in this weekend's corresponding fixture last season, The striker has three goals in three meetings with the Blades and is also proving to be a strong link man in bringing the Blues' enviable attacking options into play.

ATT: Wilf Zaha - H vs Leeds: 4 Stars (£10.34)

With more goals this season than he scored over the entirety of the last Premier League campaign, Zaha will be hoping to add to his tally of five against a Leeds side that only know how to play one way. They dominated possession but were undone time and again by the pace of Vardy and Barnes on the counter against Leicester last time out, and Palace will have no qualms adopting a similar approach that should suit their star man down to the ground.

ATT: Jarrod Bowen - H vs Fulham: 3 Stars (£5.50)

While West Ham's meeting with Fulham may not be the home banker many might predict given the Cottagers' improvements of late, David Moyes' side have the opportunity to focus more on their attack after a string of difficult fixtures. With Michail Antonio absent, it will be up to the likes of Bowen to pose a threat and he's done just that against Fulham in his career, scoring in three of his four outings against them while at Hull.

ATT: Harry Kane - A vs West Brom: 5 Stars (£56.19)

Kane's electric form, both in terms of goals and assists of late, is inescapable, registering at least one of each for the fifth game this season in midweek. West Brom beware, with the Spurs skipper boasting an exceptional record against the Baggies, with seven goals in seven games as the Londoners aim to get one over on what has proven to be something of a bogey team for them in the past.

Now you know our tips, you can enter the Beat Kammy Freeroll at no cost and using our exclusive sign up offer, will receive a 50 per cent deposit bonus up to a value of £100!
