REVEALED: The star men from Saturday's Premier League matches
Manchester City 3-1 Everton - Gabriel Jesus (8.58)
Goals are like buses - you wait ages for one, then two come along at once. Gabriel Jesus’ brace in Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Everton were his first goals since hitting the back of the net in the 6-1 win over Huddersfield back in August. The Brazilian scored with his two shots, while two key passes and one successful dribble capped off a memorable attacking performance from Jesus, who landed the WhoScored of the match award with a 8.58 rating.
Tottenham 1-0 Burnley - Ben Davies (7.62)
Tottenham left it late to secure a crucial three points with their narrow 1-0 win over Burnley ensuring they remain the only team in Europe’s top five leagues yet to draw a game this season. Christian Eriksen kept his composure to earn the victory in a match that saw Ben Davies start at centre-back. The Welshman was solid at the heart of the defence to return a WhoScored rating of 7.62 as he won nine aerial duels, made three clearances and two interceptions and maintained a 88.7% pass success rate from 106 passes.
Watford 3-2 Cardiff - Gerard Deulofeu (8.40)
Watford edged out Cardiff to end a six-match winless run, but the result was closer than the performance suggests. The Hornets were 3-0 up with 20 minutes to play and came close to throwing that away as late goals from Junior Hoilett and Bobby Reid set up a nervy finish at Vicarage Road and had it not been for Gerard Deulofeu’s performance, then Watford’s winless run would’ve continued. The Spaniard set Watford on their way after 16 minutes, before turning provider for Jose Holebas after the restart. Four successful dribbles and two key passes helped Deulofeu to the man of the match award with a 8.40 rating.

Wolves 2-0 Bournemouth - Conor Coady (7.58)
After a six-match winless run of their own, Wolves seem to be back on track with a comfortable 2-0 win over Bournemouth their third consecutive triumph. Raul Jimenez and Ivan Cavaleiro were the goalscorers, but the victory marked another solid showing from Conor Coady at the heart of the Wolves defence. The centre-back was a dominant performer at the back as he made two tackles, two interceptions and five clearances to return a WhoScored rating of 7.58.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Leicester - Luka Milivojevic (8.29)
Easing the pressure on Roy Hodgson and Crystal Palace, who secured their second win in their last four matches to move five points clear of the drop zone, Luka Milivojevic’s first half goal proved to be the difference at Selhurst Park. The Serb netted with five minutes before the break, that coming from one of two shots, and was hugely effective out of possession. Indeed, a clean sheet was made possible as Milivojevic made five tackles, three interceptions and two clearances to return a 8.29 WhoScored rating.
Huddersfield 0-1 Newcastle - Martin Dubravka (7.95)
Salomon Rondon was the hero for Newcastle, with the Venezuelan’s second half goal earning the Magpies their fourth league win of the season. However, Rafa Benitez’s side were made to work hard for the three points as Martin Dubravka churned out a solid goalkeeping display between the sticks. The shotstopper made five saves in total, while one aerial duel won and one successful cross claim saw Dubravka come away with the WhoScored man of the match award with a 7.95 rating.
Fulham 0-2 West Ham - Robert Snodgrass (8.68)
West Ham were ruthless in the first half of their 2-0 win over Fulham, hitting the back of the net with two of their three shots. Robert Snodgrass set the Hammers on their way to victory, their fourth on the bounce, with a superb curling effort from 20 yards, with the Scot having a direct hand in five goals in his last four league outings. His goal came from his only shot, while returns of three dribbles, two key passes and two tackles meant Snodgrass did more than enough to land the man of the match award with a WhoScored rating of 8.68.
