Bayern star Lewandowski heads Champions League Team of the Week

The Champions League returned with a bang in midweek with celebrity sides Manchester United and Paris Saint

Germain dropping points and the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City delivering classics in respective match-ups with AC Milan and RB Leipzig.

Ajax's Sebastian Haller scored four goals on his Champions League debut at the expense of Portuguese side Sporting and is unsurprisingly our player of the round with a perfect WhoScored 10 rating.

Jack Grealish also had a Champions League debut to remember, scoring and assisting in City's 6-3 win over Leipzig but he actually misses out on a place in our team of the week. His place is instead occupied by Young Boys' Moumi Ngamaleu, who had a field day against United.

Bayern Munich brushed past a sorry Barcelona side 3-0, with Robert Lewandowski helping himself to two goals. The Poland international has remarkably now scored in 18 straight games for Bayern, a run that stretches back to February.
