Man Utd's awesome foursome claim Premier League best XI spots

The games are coming thick and fast and with gameweek 34 kicking off tonight, teams are hoping they can gather momentum for the final push this season. One of those is Manchester United, who earned a third successive Premier League victory with a 5-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team are one of the form sides in the Premier League and will look to continue their winning run when they face relegation-threatened Aston Villa on Thursday. The performances of their electrifying front four has really caught the eye in recent gameweeks and the attacking quartet all make the Premier League team of the week.

Indeed, not for the first time this season, Bruno Fernandes is our Premier League player of the week with a WhoScored rating of 9.13 having scored one and provided two assists in the victory over the Cherries. United have been superb on the back of his January arrival from Sporting and his showings have lifted those around him.

Supporters were excited to see how Fernandes would click with Marcus Rasford and Anthony Martial at Old Trafford and they haven't been disappointed. However, one player who has benefitted immensely from the Portugal international's arrival is Mason Greenwood. Highly thought off at United, Greenwood continued his rise to stardom with a brace over Bournemouth and, with eight goals to his name, the teenager is now the top scoring played aged 21 and under in the Premier League this season.

Greenwood occupies the right wing spot in the best XI this week with a WhoScored rating of 8.52, while fellow academy product Rashford (7.95) has secured the left wing berth in this XI. Ross Barkley (8.62) rounds off the midfield following his man of the match display in Chelsea's 3-0 win over Watford.

With a WhoScored rating of 7.91, Martial completes the United contingent as he bagged his 15th league goal of the campaign against Bournemouth. However, the Frenchman is still some way off Jamie Vardy in the goalscoring charts. The Foxes striker partners Martial on the frontline have bagged his 20th and 21st league goals of the campaign in Leicester's 3-0 win over Crystal Palace to move two goals clear in the race for the Golden Boot and yield a WhoScored rating of 8.31.

Impressive in the clean sheet attaining display over the Eagles, James Justin is the second Leicester representative as he impressed in a three-man backline, evidenced in his notable WhoScored rating of 8.00. Pipping Justin to top spot as the highest rated centre-back is James Tarkowski, who turned out a man of the match performance in Burnley's 1-1 draw with Sheffield United. The Clarets may have dropped points late on, yet Tarkowski did enough to warrant a WhoScored rating of 8.46, with the Burnley defender winning 12 aerial duels and making eight clearances to go with his first half strike.

Cesar Azpilicueta (8.37) features at left-back as Frank Lampard continues to chop and change his left-backs, with the Spaniard arguably his strongest option for the role until the summer transfer window opens. At right-back, Kyle Walker-Peters makes the cut after putting in a solid rearguard showing in Southampton's 1-0 win over former champions Manchester City. The right-back has struggled to consolidate a regular starting spot since his January arrival from Tottenham, yet with a WhoScored rating of 8.34, it'll go some way to nailing down a first team spot on the south coast.

And Walker-Peters isn't the only Southampton representative to feature in the Premier League team of the week, with Alex McCarthy (8.47) doing enough to snatch the man of the match award from teammate Walker-Peters in their 1-0 win over City. McCarthy made six saves in all to land his sixth clean sheet of the campaign.
