Following the recommence of WhoScored.com's partnership with fantasy football website MondoGoal we're looking at potential early season bargains to be picked up this week, or at least before their prices rise.

Here we tip a couple of new signings to watch out for, as well as some returning faces who look to be great value on MondoGoal right now.

N'Golo Kante (Leicester)

He may not be in line to start this coming weekend following an impressive opening day win over Sunderland in his absence but you can expect new Leicester signing N'Golo Kante to make a real impact this season. Effectively replacing last season's player of the year Esteban Cambiasso, the Frenchman is an extremely busy midfielder and gets through an exceptional amount of defensive work in particular.

Kante produced more tackles than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues last season (176), but also showed his ability on the ball once he had won possession for former club Caen. The 24-year old registered 5 assists and netted twice, whilst also averaging 43 passes per game in Ligue 1. At just £5.6m this week you can expect that figure to rise as the season progresses.

Yohan Cabaye (Crystal Palace)

Another arrival from France's top-flight this summer, though this time a returning face to the Premier League, Yohan Cabaye proved - as if it were needed - that he would be an excellent signing for Palace last weekend. The former Newcastle midfielder netted Pardew's side's decisive third goal in a 3-1 victory over Norwich and he is expected to build on that tally, though the Eagles face Arsenal this weekend.

Nevertheless, a meagre price of just £5m at MondoGoal represents exceptional value and it's a fee that could double in the next few months. The Frenchman may have had a disappointing time back in his homeland with PSG but showed that he is able to pick up where he left off in the Premier League, having now netted 8 times in his last 20 appearances in England's top tier.

Cameron Jerome (Norwich)

It's true that Jerome has struggled to carry his Championship form into the Premier League in the past but last season the striker was particularly impressive in Norwich's promotion campaign. Following the failings of fellow front man Lewis Grabban last week the 28-year old will hope to return to the starting XI against Sunderland this Saturday, with the Black Cats' defence all at sea in their season opener.

Jerome came off the bench to score what appeared to be an exceptional late leveller for the hosts against Palace last week only to have his acrobatic effort ruled out and he'll be keen to put that right at the Stadium of Light. Having registered 20 goals and 7 assists for Norwich last season, Jerome's price of just £3.5m looks an absolute steal.

Emre Can (Liverpool)

This is likely to be an important season for Emre Can, with the youngster tipped to be given the chance to play in his favoured central midfield position this time around. The German was arguably Liverpool's strongest performer at the back last time out but with Rodgers having reverted to a back four the 21-year old seems set to play in a 3-man midfield this season.

Can showed just how capable he can be in that role for Germany's under-21s at the recent European Championships before they received an unexpected drubbing at the hands of Portugal, securing a WhoScored.com rating of 7.24 at the tournament. The former Bayern graduate scored and picked up an assist in the Czech Republic this summer and if he can have a similar effect for the Reds this season his current price of £5.5m looks low.
