Real Madrid are unlikely to let defender Sergio Ramos leave this summer, according to Andres Iniesta.
Spain international Ramos has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, with reports recently suggesting the centre-back is keen on a move away from the 10-time European Champions.
United are believed to have tabled a £28.6m bid for the 29-year-old in the last week, but Iniesta believes his compatriot will be plying his trade at the Bernabeu next season.
"I’ve always said that Sergio is one of the best centre-backs around," Iniesta is quoted as saying in AS.
"He’s already in a great team and, to be honest, I can’t see Madrid letting him leave."
Ramos recently told Spanish television that he is "not negotiating with anyone" over a potential new contract or transfer.
