Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy does not have a £30m release clause in his new deal contrary to reports earlier in the week, according to Sky Sports.
Vardy, 29, ended speculation regarding his future at the King Power Stadium by signing a new three-year deal at the start of February, but it emerged earlier this week that the England international had a £30m release clause inserted into his improved terms.
The Leicester frontman has been in sensational form this season and his performances in front of goal and tireless running have been one of main factors behind the Foxes incredible campaign.
However, contrary to reports that emerged earlier in the week, Vardy does not have a £30m release clause. Since the start of the season, no player has scored more goals in the Premier League than Vardy (19).
