Sevilla director of football Monchi has reportedly been tracking the Nancy centre-back for several years and will join up with his new teammates straight away.

Lenglet had featured in all but one of Nancy’s 19 league games this season and returned with a modest WhoScored rating of 7.04. The youngster ranks in the top 10 for possession won in the defensive third in Ligue 1 this season (74), while an average of 2.5 tackles and 2.6 interceptions per game further highlights the proactive side to his approach to defending.
