Everyday, Football INDEX highlights the five biggest market movers over a 24-hour period. Here are the current five:

1. LUKA MILIVOJEVIC (CRYSTAL PALACE)

Crystal Palace took a huge step towards achieving Premier League safety last weekend after overcoming fierce rivals Brighton 3-2 to move six points clear of the bottom three.

Luka Milivojevic, who has been a revelation for the Eagles this season, continued his fine form for Roy Hodgson’s side by setting up one of Palace’s goals on Saturday.

It was the 27-year-old’s first Premier League assist of the season and means he has now scored or assisted in each of Palace’s last three matches.

Furthermore, the Serbia international is only the second Palace player in their last five Premier League campaigns to reach double figures for goals in a single season (10).

As a result of his fine performances, his Football INDEX share price has increased 13.11% in the last 24 hours and he is now trading a £0.81. He could be a worthy addition to your portfolios for the rest of the season.

2. MICHY BATSHUAYI (BORUSSIA DORTMUND)

Curiously, Michy Batshuayi’s Football INDEX share price has increased 9.9% in the last 24 hours despite confirmation from Borussia Dortmund that he will miss the rest of the season through injury.

Batshuayi, who has been a hit in Dortmund during his six-month loan spell, suffered ankle ligament damage in the weekend’s defeat to Schalke, which forced him off on a stretcher in the dying embers.

The 24-year-old is still hopeful of proving his fitness in time for the 2018 World Cup. Batshuayi is a regular squad player for Belgium, but is not considered first choice when everyone is available.

With that in mind, you’d be better served looking at other players to add to your portfolios even if Batshuayi makes the Belgium squad for the World Cup that starts in June.

3. CLEMENT LENGLET (SEVILLA)

The latest news out of Spain is that Barcelona want to bolster their defensive options in the summer and have earmarked Sevilla ace Clement Lenglet as a top transfer target.

Sevilla signed the highly rated centre-back from French side Nancy in January 2017 and now he looks destined for another high profile move at the end of the season.

Barcelona have reportedly stepped up their interest in the 22-year-old but could face competition from Liverpool, who have also been credited with an interest.

Lenglet’s Football INDEX share price has increased 8.91% in the last 24 hours of trading and, with Sevilla on course to miss out of European football for next season, he should be considered for your portfolios.

4. ARTHUR (GREMIO)

Another Barcelona target causing a stir on Football INDEX in the last 24 hours is Gremio midfielder Arthur. The 21-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in January but the Spanish side failed to get a deal over the line.

Ernesto Valverde’s side are expected to revisit the signing of Arthur at the end of the season as they seek a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets, who turns 30 at the start of next season.

The Brasileirao started last weekend and Arthur kicked off the season with a WhoScored Man of the Match award in Gremio’s 1-0 win over Cruzeiro on Saturday.

His Football INDEX share price is only £1.84 and he should be considered for your portfolios, particularly if his first performance of the season is anything to go by.

5. DUSAN TADIC (SOUTHAMPTON)

Rounding off the top five market movers is Southampton creator Dusan Tadic. The Serbia international’s Football INDEX share price has increased 8.27% in the last 24 hours off the back of his performance against Chelsea at the weekend.

Tadic scored his fourth league goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough as Southampton threw a 2-0 lead away to lose 3-2 to last season’s Premier League champions.

The Southampton No.11 has now played a direct hand in seven league goals this season, but the Saints appear destined to go down and it might be worth looking elsewhere for additions to your portfolios.

Mark Hughes’ side are five points adrift of safety with five games remaining and have now lost each of their last four and without a win in their last seven.
