Rashford one of two Man Utd stars to make Premier League Team of the Week

Manchester United have two players feature in the Premier League team of the week after their 3-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday night to keep their faint title hopes alive. Everton and Fulham also each boast two representatives in the team of the week after key wins over Liverpool and Sheffield United, respectively, but it's a Leeds man who earns the player of the week gong this time out.

Rui Patricio (Wolves) - 8.52

Wolves extended their unbeaten run to four matches in Friday's 1-0 win over Leeds, with Rui Patricio playing a key role in the narrow victory. It took an Illan Meslier own goal midway through the second half for Wolves to break the Leeds resolve, with Patricio vital in the Wolves goal as he made seven saves to help land a WhoScored rating of 8.52.

Matthew Lowton (Burnley) - 7.54

The first of two Burnley players in the Premier League team of the week, Matthew Lowton features for the second gameweek running after his solid performance in the Clarets' 0-0 draw with West Brom. Four tackles and three interceptions ensured the Baggies endured rotten luck down their left flank as he landed a WhoScored rating of 7.54.

Harry Maguire (Manchester United) - 7.72

Manchester United have two representatives in the best XI this week, with Harry Maguire first up. While the United defender was questionable in Allan Saint-Maximin's goal in their eventual 3-1 win over Newcastle, Maguire is still credited with the assist for Marcus Rashford's opener, that coming from one of two key passes. In addition, the 27-year-old won six aerial duels and made four clearances to help yield a WhoScored rating of 7.72.

James Tarkowski (Burnley) - 7.69

Partnering Magurire at the heart of the defence is the second Burnley representative in the team of the week. James Tarkowski put in a man of the match shift against the Baggies, with a WhoSored rating of 7.69 enough to secure his first award of the season. Tarkowski won six aerial duels and made three clearances and one tackle to make the cut.

Lucas Digne (Everton) - 7.68

Everton secured their first Merseyside Derby league win at Liverpool since 1999 in their 2-0 victory on Saturday evening. Lucas Digne is the first of two Toffees representatives in the best XI as he again impressed at left-back. The Frenchman didn't have a hand in a goal at Anfield, but he managed one key pass in the victory. It was Digne's work off the ball that caught the eye as he managed four tackles, four clearances and two interceptions to land a WhoScored rating of 7.68.

Raphinha (Leeds) - 8.89

With a WhoScored rating of 8.89, Raphinha is our Premier League player of the week. The Brazilian's rating was the second highest of any outfielder to have failed to score or assist in a Premier League game this season, but it was not for want of trying. Indeed, Raphinha managed six key passes and four shots in Leeds' 1-0 loss to Wolves, while four interceptions, three tackles and three successful dribbles capped a superb showing from the summer arrival.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Fulham) - 8.25

In the battle to beat the drop, Fulham secured a vital 1-0 win over Sheffield United on Saturday night. Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa was the man of the match in the victory and is the first of two Fulham players in the side. The midfielder tested his luck routinely in the clash, mustering three shots, but it was his ability to drive through the Blades midfield that caught the eye as Anguissa completed 12 dribbles, a record in a Premier League match this season, to return a WhoScored rating of 8.25.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Fulham) - 7.79

Anguissa's Fulham's teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek joins the Cameroonian in the middle of the park having garnered a WhoScored rating of 7.79 against Sheffield United. The Blades had little to offer against Fulham's midfield with Loftus-Cheek gliding forward where required as he completed six dribbles in the 1-0 win. With four shots and two key passes to his name, the 25-year-old was unfortunate not to have a hand in a goal, yet no less did enough to feature in the best XI.

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) - 8.70

Manchester United's second player in the team of the week is frontman Marcus Rashford. The England international put United ahead on their way to an eventual 3-1 win over Newcastle, hitting the back of the net with one of his two shots at Old Trafford. Five successful dribbles was a match high against Newcastle and helped Rashford to a WhoScored rating of 8.70.

James Rodriguez (Everton) - 7.84

The second Everton representative features on the frontline in the team of the week. Carlo Ancelotti diverted from his usual 4-2-3-1 setup and elected to instead partner James Rodriguez with Richarlison in a 5-3-2 system. The Colombian provided the assist, his fourth of the season, for Richarlison to break the deadlock after just three minutes, that coming from his only key pass, and he defended well from the front before his second half withdrawal as he made three tackles and two interceptions to return a WhoScored rating of 7.84 in the Merseyside Derby.

Michail Antonio (West Ham) - 7.81

Joining James Rodriguez on the frontline is West Ham forward Michail Antonio. The Hammers hitman set West Ham on their way to a 2-1 win over Tottenham, beating Hugo Lloris from close range with just five minutes on the clock at the London Stadium. That goal came from one of his two shots in the narrow victory, while Antonio bullied Spurs centre-backs Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier, winning six aerial duels, to round of the team of the week with a WhoScored rating of 7.81.
